The Parkinsonian is Parkinson's New Zealand's twice yearly magazine for people with Parkinson's and their whanau. This issue of the Parkinsonian shares notes from Professor Bas Bloem's opening presentation at the Living Positively with Parkinson's Conference in August this year which focused on toxins and hazardness chemicals. During this presentation Professor Bloem linked enviromental toxins to the increasing incidences of Parkinson's globally.
We share our contribution and impact over the past year, the results from our client satisfaction survey, hear from both our Chairperson and Chief executive and meet a Parkinson's Educator. In this issue we also share two articles; one on reseach into the gut and another on fragility written by one of our educators.
