Professor Bas Bloem was one of the keynote presenters of the Living Positively with Parkinson's Conference in 2024 in celebration of Parkinson's New Zealand's 40th anniversary.
In this presentation Bas discusses pesticides, chemicals and other toxins which may be linked to the increase of incidences of Parkinson's globally. He also shares his optimism for treatments that are on the horizon and lifestyle changes that may help to slow down the progression of Parkinson's.
