Join us as we listen to Tony Lawson, A Nurse Practitioner, describe why sleep is so important, especially for people who are living with Parkinson’s.

• Tony will discuss the biology of sleep, the biological clock, and why our bodies follow a circadian rhythm.

• Describe how sleep is a busy time for our brains and what our brains are actually getting up to as we sleep.

• The impact of modern life on how we sleep compared to preindustrial times.

• The effect of sleep patterns in Parkinson’s syndromes, and perhaps most importantly, what we can do to have a better night’s sleep.
